Post... Number One...

I'm not sure what I'll use this journal for. I do still have my LJ accounts from YEARS ago. One is sitting there doing nothing much, and the other I will do an occasional post. Heck, I even have MeWe and I just picked up Bluesky. I'm not sure if I will fully leave FB. I am seeing a LOT of negativity and spamming in my feed. I may reduce the number of groups and/or friends there. I don't know.

I may use this one specifically for my spiritual life or my mundane life. I don't know yet. The possibilities are endless. lol Only time will tell.

This post is public... for informational purposes. I'm not sure if future posts will be public or change to friends only. It may depend on the subject of the post.

Welcome aboard! FWIW you can export/backup your entire LJ to DW. That's what I did years ago, but kept my LJ active. Back in the 90's I paid for a permanent account so I just leave it there. I deleted my MeWe and Wordpress because I barely touched it.

I must say, it's very nostalgic to be back on this platform after 15 years. The user pics, the mood themes, tweaking your own journal layout. lol. I kinda like it.

I did learn that DW kept their prices the same ALL THIS TIME, until next year. They admit their stubborn folks and want to keep DW alive and well, but to survive in this day/age/economy/shit show; they need to finally raise prices. Not sure if I'll do an annual fee, but I keep the free account and pay for more user pics.
